As the culmination of Generations United’s 40th anniversary celebration, the Generations United Global Conference 2027 will honor four decades of impact while looking ahead to what comes next. Attendees will learn, connect, and exchange innovative programs, promising practices, emerging research, effective policies, and lived experience that strengthen families and communities.

We invite proposals across the full breadth of intergenerational programs and communities and kinship and grandfamilies services, including topics that bridge both areas. We are interested in sessions that elevate diverse voices and expertise, share practical solutions, inspire innovation and collaboration, and turn ideas into action. Sessions should engage participants in meaningful learning and exchange and offer ideas, strategies, or tools they can apply in their organizations and communities.

We especially welcome proposals that meaningfully engage the voices and expertise of kinship caregivers and family members, younger and older people, people with lived experience, and participants in intergenerational programs and communities.

Space is limited, and collaboration is encouraged. Presenters working on complementary topics are encouraged to consider submitting proposals together.

Submission Deadline

The deadline for submission is Tuesday, December 15, 2026, at midnight U.S. Eastern Time.

Eligible proposals must include all requested information. All submissions must be completed using the online submission form.
